I’m Saiteja Kudligi

I’m currently pursuing my Interaction design Master’s at California State University, East Bay. I’ve 4 years of overall design experience. 2 yrs of industry & 2 yrs of freelancing experience. I love connecting the dots between business goals, technical constraints and user satisfaction. I enjoy solving complex problems with simple design solutions.

My skills

Primary & desk research

During primary research, I share User surveys and if users are interested, I’ll interview them to collect their pain points and frustrations.
In secondary research, I work on compitetive analysis and create some UI references

Information Architecture

After obtaining the data from reserach, I work on white boarding (along with the team members & stakeholders) in Miro. I prefer Overflow software for creating userflows.

Wireframing

After getting IA/userflows ready, I work on wireframing. After the first set of wireframing, I conduct user testing sessions to collect inputs from users. Based on user inputs, we iterate the design.

Visual design & Prototyping

After completing wireframing, I jump into visual design. At this stage I work on designing high fedility UI screens. At this stage, I work more on interactions and micro animations during prototyping.

usability testing & Iterating

At this stage, I use different approaches for different flows/designs. If the flow is simple, I prefer task driven testing. If the design is complex, I follow AB testing and guerilla testing.

Branding

Before handing off to developer I work on refining artboard names and make sure each and every component is marked for export or not. For developer hand-offs, I generally use XD developer link and Zeplin.

Years of XP

I’ve started my design career in 3rd year of my engineering (2019). I’ve started with Graphic design and upskilled myself to UX designer. I’m a founder of Prathama design agency (OPC), where as a team we’ve delivered 10+ products. After that I’ve started my professional career at Kotak Mahindra Bank in Jul 2021.
